Privacy Policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

This policy describes how Elorit collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and application.

1. Overview

Elorit ("we", "us", or "our") provides a productivity application and related websites (together, the "Service") at elorit.com, app.elorit.com, and support.elorit.com.

Our Terms of Service govern use of the Service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in these categories:

  • Account information. When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and authentication details (for example via Google sign-in or a magic link). You may also provide a display name or similar profile details.
  • Content you create. Notes, tasks, plans, habits, journal entries, lists, spaces, chat messages with the assistant, and other content you add to Elorit are stored so we can provide the Service.
  • Demo usage. If you start an anonymous demo, we may store workspace data associated with that session so you can use Elorit before creating an account.
  • Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and customer identifiers). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
  • Integrations. If you connect a calendar (such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar), we receive tokens and calendar data needed to sync and display events in the Elorit planner. For Google Calendar specifically, see Google Calendar data below.
  • Support communications. When you contact support, we collect the information you submit (such as name, email, and message content).
  • Usage and device data. We may collect technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, and how you interact with the Service, to operate, secure, and improve Elorit.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate you and manage your account or trial
  • Process subscriptions and send related billing notices
  • Power features such as search, planning, and the AI assistant
  • Sync connected calendars when you enable that feature
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and protect security
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private workspace content to train general-purpose AI models for unrelated products.

4. AI features

Elorit includes an AI assistant that can use context from your workspace (such as notes, tasks, plans, and related content) to answer questions and help you organize work.

When you use AI features, relevant prompts and context may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or comparable model providers) solely to generate a response for you. Those providers process that data under their own terms and as our processors for this purpose.

Google Calendar data obtained through Google Workspace APIs is not used as context for the in-app AI assistant, AI gateway, or MCP-connected third-party AI services. See Google Calendar data below.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal data in AI chats unless you are comfortable with that processing.

5. Google Calendar data

If you connect Google Calendar, Elorit uses Google Workspace APIs to access calendar data you authorize. We use that data to sync and display your calendar events in the Elorit planner.

We do not use Google Calendar data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Google Calendar data obtained through Workspace APIs is excluded from Elorit's in-app AI assistant, AI gateway, and MCP-connected third-party AI services. That data is not sent to those systems as prompts or context.

We retain Google Calendar data only as needed to provide the planner sync feature. When you disconnect the Google Calendar integration, we delete the related calendar data from Elorit. Copies of that data in backups may remain for up to 7 days before being overwritten or deleted. Disconnecting Elorit does not delete events from your Google Calendar.

Elorit's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors for hosting, database, authentication, payments, email delivery, and AI inference. Examples include Supabase (infrastructure and auth), Stripe (payments), and AI model providers. They may process data only to provide services to us.
  • Integration partners. If you connect Google, Microsoft, or similar accounts, those providers receive and share data according to your permissions and their policies.
  • Space members. Content in a shared space is visible to other members of that space according to the roles and permissions you configure.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Elorit, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service — for example to keep you signed in, remember theme preferences, and maintain trial or session state.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the marketing site. If that changes, we will update this policy.

8. Data retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. Anonymous demo data may be deleted or expire after a limited period. When a Pro intro or subscription ends, registered account data is retained on the Free plan unless you delete your account.

Google Calendar data obtained through Google Workspace APIs is retained only to provide the planner sync feature and is deleted when you disconnect that integration. Backup copies may remain for up to 7 days before being overwritten or deleted. Disconnecting does not delete events from your Google Calendar.

After you delete your account, or when anonymous demo data expires, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must retain it longer for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure security provided by our hosting partners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can review and update much of your information directly in the app settings. To request access or deletion, or to ask a privacy-related question, contact us through support.elorit.com.

You may disconnect calendar integrations at any time in the product. Disconnecting Google Calendar deletes the related Google Calendar data from Elorit (backup copies may remain for up to 7 days) and does not delete events from your Google Calendar. You may also stop using the Service and request account deletion.

11. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Children

Elorit is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice as appropriate. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
